Objectives:
- Initiate the Docusign Workflow
- Add Signees and Send the contract to sign
Steps:
This guide will walk you through how an initiator can set up the Signature Center using the DocuSign workflow.
- From the contracts grid, open the contract page and navigate to the Signature Center.
- Select DocuSign as the signature workflow (Get Started)
- Click Add Signees
- You can share the document with various types of signees, including
- Users: Any member with a Lexzur license.
- Collaborators: A Client Portal user with a collaborator license who can sign contracts directly through the portal.
- Persons: Any external individual you want to send the document to for signature.
- Search for the signee's name and add them.
- Add as many signees as needed and set the signature order to ensure signatures are completed in sequence.
- Click Send for signature to proceed.
The contract will open in DocuSign for further configuration. Here specify where each signee should sign and add any required fields, such as stamps, initials, or other signature elements.
- From the dropdown menu at the top, select each signee and prepare the document by adding their signature fields and other necessary elements.
- Repeat the process for all signees.
- Once all fields are configured, click Send. (You can also schedule the sending for later time)
- The contract will be sent to signees in the specified order.
The first signee will receive an email notification from DocuSign to review and sign the contract.
Signees can sign directly from the email or, if they are Lexzur users, through the Signature Center in Lexzur. Learn more about how to sign using Docusign here.
Once all signatures are completed, the signed contract will be available in the Attachments section of the contract page, and notifications will be sent to all relevant stakeholders by email.
