Objectives:
- Create automation rules with Delay feature
Steps:
The Delayed Workflow Trigger in Automation Hub allows you to postpone automation actions based on conditions you define.
How to Access the Feature
Open System Settings.
Under System Preferences, go to Automation Hub.
Create a new trigger or edit an existing one.
You will find the Delay field next to the Trigger section.
How the Delay Works
When you build a rule, the Delay function postpones the execution of the trigger by the specified number of business days.
A trigger will still be created normally.
Once an object meets the trigger conditions, it becomes active, but the action will not execute immediately.
After the configured delay (X days), the system will recheck the conditions:
If the conditions are still met, the action will execute.
If not, no action will be taken.
Setting Up Your Delay
Simply specify the number of delay days.
Then configure the rest of your rule according to your workflow requirements.
