Objectives

  • Set the user group permissions.

Steps

In App4Legal you can give permissions to users based on their groups and the module they will work on. In order to set the user permissions, the admin should go to System Settings, and from the Users & Permissions section, choose User Group Permissions.

Choose the user group that you want to give specific permission such as User, Accountant, and so on. And choose the module such as core, contract, or money.

The Controls are the features related to each module. For example, if you choose "Core", the system will automatically show you all the related core features, where you can set permissions for the selected user group specifically for each Core setting.

Now, the Permissions under this specific module will appear and you can start setting permissions one by one using the checkboxes.

Under the Companies section, you can give permissions to add, edit or delete a company, bank accounts, shareholders, licenses, documents, and everything related to companies. Similarly, you can manage the permissions related to Contacts, Matters, Docs, Tasks, Reports, and so on.

Once done press Save.

However, if you choose "Money", you will be able to set permissions related to accounting, for example, Reports, Accounts, Invoices, Discounts, Taxes ... etc.

And under the "Contract" permissions, you will be able to control everything related to contracts such as: add, edit, delete or amend a contract, manage the signature center, approval center, applicable law, clauses, and so on.
