Objectives:

  • Start Timer
  • Manage Timer

Steps:

Start the Timer:

  • Click on the play button in the timer icon, located at the top right of the navigation menu.
  • The timer will start counting, allowing you to track your work time without needing to specify any details immediately.

Pause the Timer:

  • To pause the timer, click on the timer icon again.

 

  • A Time Entry Information Form will appear, where you'll need to fill in the details of your time log:

                

  1. Entry Type: Choose if the entry relates to a matter, task, or contract.
  2. Matter Name: Specify the matter you're working on.
  3. Billable Status: Indicate whether the time is billable, and if so, choose the related client.
  4. Date Log: Select the date for the time entry.
  5. Effort Type (optional): Describe what the time was spent on.
  6. Description (optional): Add any additional details.


After filling out the time entry form, you have three options:

  • Save Entry: Pauses the timer and saves the time log for future management. It will remain in the paused time logs list for you to resume and complete later.
  • End Entry: Stops the timer and finalizes the log, adding it as a new time entry to the specified matter.
  • Delete: Removes the recorded time and discards the log permanently.



View and Manage Logs:

Clicking on the list part of the timer icon displays your in-progress or paused time logs, the total time worked, and options to:

  • Edit, Pause, or Resume the timer
  • Move Between Dates: View a list of timers for different days.
  • You can access all your time entries by selecting View All My Time Entries 

  • Starting a new time entry directly from "New Timer" button.

This simplifies time tracking and ensures that all efforts are accurately logged and managed.
