Objectives

  • Understand how to use the Universal Search to quickly find records.

  • Search across multiple modules, including matters, contracts, tasks, and more.

Steps

The Universal Search feature provides a fast and efficient way to locate any record within the system from a single place.

You can search for items such as:

  • Matters (Corporate or Litigation)

  • Contracts

  • Tasks

  • Companies

  • Attachments and files

This allows users to access information across all modules without navigating between pages.

1. Access the Search Bar

Once you log in to the system:

  • Locate the Search icon/bar at the top-right corner of the header.

  • Click on it to open the search panel.

2. Start Searching

When the search panel opens:

  • You will see a list of recently visited records (e.g., matters, cases, tasks).

  • Click inside the search field and start typing your query.

You can search using:

  • Matter or contract names

  • Client or company names

  • Keywords related to the record

  • Reference numbers

  • Dates or partial information

3. View Search Results

  • Press Enter to perform the search.

  • The system will display unified results from across all modules.

Results may include:

  • Companies

  • Matters and cases

  • Contracts

  • Tasks

  • Attachments

  • Reminders etc...

This ensures you get a comprehensive view of all related records matching your search criteria.
