Objectives:
- Access Lexa directly from the Lexzur Document Editor
- Analyze documents using AI-powered prompts
- Insert or replace content directly within the document
- Translate, summarize, proofread, and draft clauses
- Set the jurisdiction used by Lexa to ensure legally relevant outputs
Steps:
Lexa is now fully integrated into the Lexzur Editor. This feature allows users to analyze, review, and draft documents using AI—either based on the entire document or a specific clause—through predefined prompts or custom questions.
Lexa helps reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, and accelerate document review and drafting.
Open a Document in Lexzur Editor
Navigate to the Attachments tab in the relevant module (Lexa can be used from the Attachments tab across multiple modules, including: Corporate Matters, Litigation Cases, Contracts, Tasks, or iDocs)
Select the file you want to review or analyze.
Click Open in Lexzur Editor.
The document will open in the Lexzur Editor, where you can:
Review and edit content
Add comments
Make modifications in real time
Access Lexa
At the top of the document editor, click the Lexa icon.
This will open the Lexa AI chat panel on the side of the document.
Lexa automatically reads the document and is ready to assist.
Set the Jurisdiction for Lexa’s Output
Lexa allows you to define the legal jurisdiction used for its analysis.
In the Lexa chat window, click the Settings icon.
Select the relevant country/jurisdiction from the list.
Lexa will base its responses on the selected jurisdiction.
Analyze the Full Document Using Lexa
Once Lexa is open, you can:
Choose from predefined prompts, such as:
Summarize the document
Identify legal issues
Translate the document
Assess compliance
Identify risks or missing clauses
- etc...
Or type a custom question in the chat input field
Lexa will generate instant results based on the full document context.
You can then:
Copy the response
Insert the content into a specific location in the document
Insert Lexa’s Output into the Document
To insert AI-generated content:
Place your cursor at the desired location in the document.
Click Insert in the Lexa chat panel.
The content will be added directly to the document, allowing seamless drafting and editing.
Work with Specific Clauses or Selected Text
To analyze or modify a specific clause:
Highlight the text directly in the document.
The selected text will automatically appear in the Lexa chat.
Choose a relevant prompt, such as:
Translate
Summarize
Rewrite
Proofread
- Or type a custom question in the chat input field
Lexa will generate results specifically for the selected text.
You can then:
Copy the response
Replace the selected text
