Objectives:

  • Automation History Tab

Steps:

The Automation History tab is a new feature that gives admins full visibility into how automation triggers are executed. It helps track successful runs, identify failures, and understand the behavior of each automation rule.

How to Access Automation History

  • Open System Settings.

  • Under System Preferences, select Automation Hub.

  • Inside this page, you will now see a new tab called Automation History.

  • Click the tab to view the full list of automation triggers and their execution logs.

Using the Automation History View

1. Review Trigger Logs

The table displays:

  • All created triggers

  • When each trigger was created

  • Who created it

  • Object type and object ID

  • The action taken by the trigger

  • The current status (Ran/ Failed)

If a trigger fails, the failure reason will appear for easier troubleshooting.

2. Apply Filters

Use the quick filters at the top to find triggers quickly.
You can filter by:

  • Trigger name

  • Object type

  • Creation date

  • Status

3. Export for Reporting

If needed, you can export the Automation History list to Excel for reporting or further analysis.
