Objectives:
- Enable Enforce Approval Option.
- Enforce Approval upon Task Rejection.
Steps:
The Enforce Approval feature gives designated users the ability to move task approvals forward even if one or more approvers rejects the task ; enabling the task to continue to the next order.
Step 1: Enable Enforce Approval for Users
Go to System Settings → System Preferences → Setup and Configuration.
Navigate to Default Values.
Locate Enable Task Approvals Settings.
If task approvals are enabled, you will see the Enforce Approval option.
Set it to Yes and add the users who should have permission to enforce approvals.
Step 2: Using Enforce Approval During Task Approval
When a Task Approval Center is defined with a sequence of approvers:
Standard behavior:
If any approver rejects, the task approval is stopped.
You can restart or terminate the process entirely.
With Enforce Approval enabled:
A designated user can override the rejection and continue the approval process.
To do this, click Enforce Approval.
- Add your comment and Submit

The approval flow will proceed with the next approver in the order.
The rejection will remain logged as “Rejected — Approval Enforced” for transparency.
Step 3: Editing Approvers Mid-Process
Approvers can be adjusted while the approval process is ongoing.
You can:
Edit pending approvers.
Add new approvers if additional validation is required.
