Objectives

  • Automate Lexa actions within Matters and Cases

  • Enable predefined or custom Lexa prompts to generate summaries, analyze attachments, or check compliance automatically

Steps

1. Open the Automation Hub

  • From System Settings, navigate to Automation Hub under System Preferences

2. Create or Edit an Automation Rule

  • Click Add a trigger or Edit an existing one

  • The Rule Type must be for Corporate Matters or Litigation Cases

3. Configure the Trigger

  • Select the trigger “Create Corporate Matter” or “Create Litigation Case

  • Use the “If” block to specify conditions

    • Example: Trigger Lexa only when Matter Type = Consultation or Case Priority = Urgent

4. Add Lexa Action

  • Under the trigger, click “Add Then”“Run Lexa Prompt”

  • Choose from:

    • Predefined Prompts: Summarize Case Brief, Identify Key Issues, Risk Analysis, etc.

    • Custom Prompts: Create personalized Lexa instructions for unique case needs

5. Save & Enable

  • Save the automation and activate it

  • Lexa will automatically perform the selected actions when the trigger conditions are met

Results

  • Lexa processes the selected matter or case files automatically

  • Results such as summaries, translations, or insights will appear in the Notes section or attached directly to the relevant documents
