Objectives:
- Send tasks from the main system to Client Portal users
Steps:
This feature allows you to assign tasks to individuals outside your internal Lexzur team. This is especially useful for involving external collaborators in specific actions or follow-ups.
Create a New Task
Click on the “Create” button and select “Task” from the dropdown menu
Choose the Task Type, based on the selected type, the relevant fields and form will appear.
Assign the Task
In the Assignee field, select Client Portal
Search for and select the name of the CP user you want to assign the task to
Set the Requester (Optional)
If you're an admin assigning the task on behalf of someone else, use the Requested by field to choose the appropriate user
The requester can be either a Client Portal user or a main Practice user
Client Portal User Experience
The assigned CP user will be notified of the task
They can access and manage it from their Client Portal profile → Tasks tab under the My Tasks grid.
From there, they can: Update the task, add attachments, write comments, and more.
