Objectives

  • Add a new Intellectual Property (IP)

  • Update or correct existing IP information

  • Capture and manage all related IP details

Steps

Lexzur allows you to manage your intellectual properties in a centralized and efficient way. 

  • Navigate to the Intellectual Property Module from the main menu.

  • You’ll see a grid listing all Intellectual Property records previously added to the system. Each record displays key details at a glance.

Add New Intellectual Property

  • To add a new IP, click Create from the top navigation bar and select Intellectual Property.


  • When adding a new IP, you’ll be prompted to complete the following required fields:
    • Intellectual Property Rights, IP Class, IP Name, Subject

You can also fill out optional fields such as:

  • Logo

  • Client/Owner

  • Agent

  • Registration Date

  • Filing Number

  • And more...

Once all necessary information is filled in, click Save.

Manage Existing Intellectual Property Records

To view or manage a specific IP record:

  • Click on the Intellectual Property in the navigation menu to open the grid, where you'll find the list of all IPs.

  • Click on the IP ID or Subject from the IP grid to open the details page.

  • Under the General Info tab, you can view and edit key information such as: IP Class, Subject, Description, Assignee, Owner, etc.
  • All fields can be updated via inline editing.

  • At the bottom of the page, you can also manage renewals.

Track Additional IP-Related Information

From the side menu, you can manage various aspects related to the IP, including:

  • Petitions and Oppositions

  • Attachments

  • Tasks

  • Expenses

  • And more...

Each tab is designed to help you track and control every detail associated with your intellectual properties.
