- Share Notes at the Matter Level with External Advisor
- Share Notes at Contract Level with External Advisor
Steps:
Notes from Matters/Cases
Open the Relevant Matter you want to share
Ensure the matter is already shared with the external advisor. If not, learn more about sharing matters with external advisors here.
- Go to the "Notes" section within the matter, and add your note in the provided field.
- Check the box labeled "Visible from Advisor Portal" to share the note with the advisor.
This will ensure the note appears in the matter on the advisor portal.
For Internal Notes Only
If you want to keep the note private and visible only to the legal team, leave the "Visible from Advisor Portal" box unchecked.
This will hide the note from the advisor portal.
Notes from Contracts
- Open the Relevant Contract page you want to share.
Ensure the contract is already shared with the external advisor. If not, learn more about sharing contracts with external advisors here.
- Go to the "Notes" section within the contract Details page, and add your note in the provided field.
- Check the box labeled "Visible from Advisor Portal" to share the note with the advisor.
This will ensure the note appears in the contract on the advisor portal.
For Internal Notes Only
If you want to keep the note private and visible only to the contract team, leave the "Visible from Advisor Portal" box unchecked.
