You can do this from the Settings page by heading icon next to the avatar on in the top right of the main menu. From the settings, go to System Settings.

External Links can be added from the "Setup & configurationConfiguration" under System preference Preferences section → Menu External links Links tab.

Enter the link title and the link URL and then press on Save.
