- Add Watchers in the Client Portal ( who have access to shared items in the portal)
Steps
Adding watchers to any matter or contract in the client portal requires the clients to belong to the same organization.
Therefore, first, manage the clients from the "Manage Clients" page within the client portal section in the system settings.
Clients in the same company can add each other as watchers.
You can now add watchers within your requested matters and contracts from the client portal.
Watchers are client portal users whom requester can share their requests with, which means they will be visible to them from their client portal account.
To share matter or contract request with watchers, open the request page in the client portal
Under the People section, search for watchers and add them.
You Furthermore, you can search for watchers using either their Name, username, or their emails within the contract level. The same option applies to Client Portal users as well.
Similarly, the legal team can specify the watchers while sharing a matter/contract with the client portal.
