Objectives:
- Send CR task for Client Portal Requester
Steps:
Contra users can create a new Contract Request (CR) while approving a contract. This CR request will be triggered as a task for the contract requester from the Client Portal. This feature is managed and enabled from the main system.
To Enable the CR Feature:
- Go to System Settings→ Setup and Configuration.
- Navigate to the Contracts & Documents Default Values tab. Enable the New CR option, and set the default CR task type that will be created.
Configure Approval Workflows:
CR operates at the approval level and must be configured and enabled for each approver within the predefined approval matrix.
- Therefore: go to System Settings → Approval Center under the contracts settings
- Select the approval matrix in which you want to apply CR, or create a new one.
- Ensure that it is linked to a contract workflow based on the specific contract type. Choose this accordingly.
- Enable the link Approvers to Workflow Statuses feature.
- The CR feature will appear once you enabled the link workflow statuses. Click to enable "Allow to Raise a New CR"
- Specify how the CR request will affect the contract status (e.g., when Approver X raises a CR, the contract status changes accordingly to under revision).
Using the CR Feature:
- Open a contract that has been shared or sent from CP users (as the CR task will be created and assigned to the requester from the Client Portal).
- A new icon to send a CR request will be enabled. Click on it, add any description if needed and submit
- A new task will be added to the CP user’s tasks and can be monitored from the related tasks in the contract.
- The requester will receive the CR task, work on it, and update you accordingly.
