Objectives:

Steps:

You can customize the task workflows and statuses in Lexzur. To do this:

Add a Task Workflow:

  • Navigate to System Settings and then select Manage Workflows under Tasks Settings:

  • On this page, you can manage and add new workflows.
By default, the system uses a "System Workflow" when no other workflow is selected.

  • To add a new workflow, click the (+) sign next to Task Workflows.
  • Provide a name for the workflow and specify the task type it will apply to.

Add Workflow Statuses:

  • After adding the new workflow, you'll need to assign statuses to it.

  • Click to add statuses, choosing from predefined options or creating new ones on the fly.

  • When adding a new status, you'll need to specify details such as its name, category, and type.

Statuses must be grouped under one of four main categories: Open, In Progress, Done, and Cancelled.

Statuses can be Global or Transitional. By default, all added statuses are Transitional unless marked as Global.

Transitional statuses allow for workflow customization with various transitional steps, including transition screens, notifications, and permissions.

Additionally, all workflow statuses are listed on a separate page, accessible via the Workflow Statuses hyperlink at the top of the page or from Task Settings.

Here, you can add new statuses, edit or delete existing ones, and track their types and categories.

Manage Workflows:

Once your new workflow is added, you can manage and customize it:

  • Specify the Starting Point Status: This is the first status assigned to a task when it's created.

  • Add Transitions: Create transitions between the various statuses, including lists of transitions and other details.

  •  Use the actions wheel in the top right corner to edit, delete, or export a workflow to Excel.

The workflow will be automatically assigned to tasks that match the criteria of the workflow.
