  • Activate/Deactivate Users

Steps:

Accessing the Manage Users Settings

  • Click on the Settings icon from the main menu, and select Manage Users.

Banning a User

Banning a user permanently prevents them from accessing the system. You must also specify a reason for the restriction.

Steps to Ban a User:

  • In the Manage Users settings page, locate the user.

  • Click on the Action Wheel next to the user ID and select Ban/Unban.

  • Choose "Yes" to ban the user and enter the reason for banning (optional).

  • Click Save to confirm.

Unbanning a User:

  • Locate the user in the Active Users list.

  • Click on the Action Wheel next to their ID and select Ban/Unban.

  • Set the ban option to "No".

  • Click Save to reactivate their access.

Deactivating a User Account

Deactivating a user account means the user will no longer have access to the system, but their account and work history will remain in the system. Additionally, the license previously assigned to the deactivated user will become available for reassignment.

Steps to Deactivate a User:

  • In the Manage Users settings page, locate the user.

  • Click on the Action Wheel next to their ID and select Activate/Deactivate.

  • Confirm the deactivation.

  • The user will no longer appear in the Active Users list.

Deactivating a user does not delete their account. Their previous work will still be accessible, but they cannot be assigned new tasks or access the system.

Reactivating a Deactivated User

If you need to restore access for a deactivated user, follow these steps:

  • Open the Manage Users settings page.

  • Click on Advanced Search.

  • Search for users with Status = Inactive, then click Submit.

  • From the list of deactivated users, locate the user.

  • Click on the Action Wheel next to their ID and select Activate/Deactivate.

  • Confirm the reactivation.

The user will now be active again and can resume their work in the system.
