Objectives

  • Configure the Rules of Automatic creation of:
    • Tasks
    • Reminders
    • Field Updates

Steps

Lexzur’s Automation Hub serves as a centralized control center to create, manage, and monitor automated workflows more efficiently, allowing you to automate tasks, reminders, and field value updates based on specific events—such as creating corporate matters, litigation cases, contracts, or setting judgments.

  • Navigate to System Settings.
  • Under System Preferences, select Automation Hub

Add a New Trigger
  • Click the button at the top right to Add a New Trigger.

Create Your Rule
  • Rule Details: Give your rule a name and description in the Rule Details section.

Define the Trigger Event:
  • Click the green tab to add the event that will trigger your rule.

This event could be adding a corporate matter, litigation case, task, contract, or setting a judgment.

Add Actions or Conditions

Add Actions/Conditions:

  • Click the plus sign "+" to add an action or condition.
  • Use the "Then" option to add actions such as tasks or reminders.
  • To customize further based on specific conditions, use "Add if" for the If-Else workflow.

Build the Rule Condition:
  • Click on "Add If" to add a condition, which will appear on the right.

  • Add condition types like Name, Date, Practice Area, Priority, ClientChannel, Requested By, etc...
  • You can also include custom fields if needed.

  • Add as many conditions as needed.
  • Choose whether all conditions must match or any condition can trigger the action.

Configure Else Block:
  • Add an "Else" block for different actions or conditions if the initial ones don't match.
  • Configure the Else block with its own set of conditions, similar to the If block.

To exit the automation if a crucial condition is not met, click the "Exit on False" option under the condition block.
  • Add multiple condition blocks as needed, and the workflow will evaluate each block's conditions, executing the actions if the criteria are met.

Create Actions
  • Click on Add Then under the block.

  • In the Actions section, select the appropriate action, such as a TaskReminder, or Set Fields
