Steps

The advisor portal is an additional add-on that sits on the top of the core application and brings all external advisors on one platform to eliminate redundant processes and improve the efficiency and speed of data sharing

It has its own portal. The licenses of the advisors are depending on how many advisors the client needs or works with.


How to access it?

The admin will be able to access the advisor portal by clicking on the System Settings on the main menu.

 Scroll to the Advisor Portal box to set up and configure the add-on.

 Head to Manage Advisors to be able to add and manage the advisors in the Advisor Portal.

 A list of the active advisors is viewed with their details. The green dot indicates that the advisor is active.

You can use the advanced search to search for a specific advisor.

The advisor can either be added via the Actions button or via the Add Advisor link at the top of the page.

You will be asked to lookup for a person to copy his information into the advisor and to which company is related.

Once you enter the details and press on save, the advisor will receive an email with the URL of the advisor portal and the login credentials.

Click on the advisor portal link, enter the email and password then click on login.

This is the view of the portal. You have some Dashboards that show you your tasks for today, your upcoming tasks, your hearings for today, and so on.

You can control which widgets you wish to see, select, and unselect from this page by simply clicking on the three lines icon.

On the left side, you will be able to add new entries like adding a new task, new time log, or new hearing.

From the corporate matter or the litigation case itself on the core application, you need to click on outsourced to and choose the company that the advisor works for.

Once you enter the company name, it brings up all the related contacts. From the external advisors, the system will let you know which advisors are licensed that's means have a license to the advisor portal, and the other contacts are regular. The licensed user is the one who will receive notifications and has access to the advisor portal. You have the option to share the documents of the matter with the advisor or not.

Go to the advisor portal now, click on the Corporate Matters, you have access to the matter in the advisor portal.

You can go into the matter by simply clicking on the ID, where you have access to the General information about the matter, you can make changes also to the matter so you can edit the custom fields, you can upload notes as well, have access to the edit the details of the matter and update the workflow.

You have access to the related tasks where you can create tasks related to the matter and also have access to the documents related to the matter from the related documents tab.

From the 3 lines, you can upload files and create folders as well.

The same for the litigation case, you can also have access here to the litigation stages tab which you can see all the related stages and you can change the stage to another stage if there is a new one.

In the activities tab, you have access to the hearings and tasks. You will be able to add a new hearing, add a new task or edit an existing one.

In the hearings, you can access all the hearings that are related to you. the same for the tasks and time logs page.

If you click on the manage Timers, you will be able to add for a task or a matter.

At the bottom, you have got a language option to change the language of the application like the core application.

Then My profile where the advisor can update the name, email address, details and change the password.
