- Customize Task Creation Forms per types
Steps:
The system now includes a Task Creation Form Builder, allowing users to create and manage customizable task forms. You can configure a unified Default Form for all task types or create task-specific forms tailored to unique requirements.
Steps to Configure Task Forms
- Open System Settings and navigate to the Tasks section and click on Task Form Configuration.
- Select Add New Configuration to create a new form.
Choose the Task Type: Each form must be linked to a specific task type.
Mandatory Fields: These fields are required for all tasks and cannot be removed:
- Task Title
- Assignee
- Due Date
- Requested by
Additional Fields:
- On the right-hand panel, you’ll find a list of all remaining task fields, including any custom fields you’ve created.
- Drag and drop fields to the desired location in the form or click the plus (+) icon to add them.

- Any additional fields added are optional when creating a task. These can be removed by clicking the minus (-) icon.
Default Values: If you prefill any fields during form creation, they will appear as default values when creating tasks.
Now, when adding a new task, if you select a type with a predefined form, the New Task window will display only the fields you configured, automatically retrieving any default values you’ve set.
Additionally, you can directly access the Form Configuration page to edit or create a new form for any task type by clicking the hyperlink available in the New Task window.
