Objectives:

  • Rename and customize Matter or Litigation default fields

Steps:


Some fields within Matters and Litigation Cases can now be renamed to better suit your organizational needs, allowing for a more intuitive user experience.

For example:

  • The system’s default fields like Arrival Date, Reference Number, Client, Opponent, etc., can now reflect terms that align with your business. If your organization doesn’t use “Client” but refers to this role as “The Plaintiff,” or if “Arrival Date” should be “Case Date,” you can make these adjustments.

Previously, you may have created additional custom fields to achieve this. Now, instead of duplicating fields, you can simply rename the original field.
