Objectives

  • Enable Contracts in Advisor Portal
  • Share Contracts with external advisors and communicate with the advisors on contracts.

Steps

Contra users can outsource their contracts and documents to external advisors, similar to the existing feature for legal cases.

  • First you must enable Contra in Advisor Portal:
       - Go to System Settings→ Setup & Configuration


     - Under the Advisor Portal tab, choose to show the Contract tab.

  • Now to share a contract with external advisor:
       - Open the contract page.


     - Under the description field in the details page, you will find the External Advisor section. Click to add a new advisor.


     - Specify the advisor's company. Once you specify the company name, the system will show you all the related contacts in the External Advisor field and will let you know who are the licensed advisors.

The licensed advisors are the ones who were added by the admin and given an advisor portal license, so they will receive notifications and have access to the advisor portal.


     - Choose the advisor you wish to share the contract with.

     - The advisor will be notified of the newly assigned contract and can start the collaboration process from the Advisor Portal.

Additionally, you can share related documents with the advisor, therefore go to the attachment tab within the contract, choose the document and click "Show in Advisor Portal" to share it with the advisor.


Use the Notes section within the contract page to send your comments, and communicate with the advisor. The advisor will see your comments and can reply accordingly, facilitating seamless communication.
