Objectives:

  • Include any external email in Lexzur notification scheme

Steps:

Some notifications in Lexzur are automatically sent when certain actions are triggered, and this can be managed through the  Notification Scheme. To configure this:

Go to System Settings →  System Preferences→ Notification Scheme.

On this page, you’ll find a list of all actions that can trigger notifications, along with the default recipients.

For example, when a new case is added, the assigned user and the matter creator will be notified, and similarly for actions like adding files or editing matters. Notifications for the Client Portal and Advisor Portal work the same way.

In addition to the default recipient, you can edit and add external email addresses.

For instance, if a specific person (who is not a user, collaborator, or client portal user) needs to be notified when a new contract is added, you can enter their email as an external recipient.

Click Edit, enter the external email, and when it appears in bold below the text box, click on it to add.

Save the notification scheme once done.

The system will automatically send notifications to all listed emails whenever the action is performed.
