Steps
In App4Legal, there is an add-on called "Client Portal" that allows App4Legal users to collaborate and communicate with their clients. It will connect the clients of the user’s company with the company itself and reduces back and forth emails as well as increases efficiency by focusing on automation. Through it, clients will be able to know the latest updates on their matters as well as provide their lawyers with requested information. Anchor enable cp enable cp
You can enable the Client Portal by heading to Settings near the user avatar on the top right.
Go to from the System Settings → Setup & Configuration under System Preferences section →Client Portal and then set the default value of the "Allow Feature Client Portal" as "Yes".

From the Client Portal Page, you can enable the feature and set up some settings and default values.

Managing the client portal could also be done from the System Settings. Therefore, scroll to the Client Portal section From the Settings page, you can access the Client Portal. Scroll to the Client Portal box in order to activate your clients.
Head to From the "Manage Clients" to be able to you can add and manage the client in the Client Portalportal users.
A list of the active clients is viewed with their details. The green dot indicates that the client is active. You can use the advanced search to search for a specific client.
You will be able to add clients to the portal through 2 methods.
The client can The client can either be added via the Actions button or via the Add Client link at the top of the page.
To add a new Client you must fill out some mandatory fields such as First Name, Last Name, Username, Email, and Password, and specify the Access type such as client, collaborator, or both.
The list of clients can be then viewed with their details. The green dot indicates that the client is active. Simply click on the green dot to Activate/Deactivate Clients:
Basic information such as the first name, last name, email etc. can be filled out to be shared with the client upon logging in to the portal.
