In App4legal, you can settle payments on invoices from the money module. First, go to the Money module on the top of the page, then click on Invoices --> View All Invoices to be directed to the list of invoices page.
From the actions wheel next to each invoice number, click on Record Payment to record a new payment to the selected invoice.
To record a new payment, you have to fill the necessary fields:

The other fields are optional.
Once you finish, click on Save. The new payment will be automatically added to the Payment Made amount and subtracted from the Balance Due.
