- Add Share requests with Watchers in from the Client Portal ( who have access to shared items in the portal)
- Share requests with Watchers from the main system
Steps
Watchers are client portal Client Portal users with whom you can share requests (, such as matters and contracts). This enables , allowing them to track and view these requests directly from their client portal accountClient Portal account.
They must be Client Portal users to access the portal, but you can share any request with them regardless of whether they are the requesters.

| To share a request with a watcher, the watcher must belong to the same company as the requester. Ensure that the related company is specified in the Manage Clients page within the main system. |
To share a matter or contract request with watchers, open follow these steps:
1. From the Client Portal:

Open the request page in , from the client portal (matter or contract request).
Under the People section, search for watchers and add them.
You can search for watchers using either their Name, username, or emails.

2. From the Main System:
Core or Contract users can share any matter, case, or contract with watchers when sending them to the requester.
For example open the contract page, click on the three dots option on the top right, and select "Show in Client Portal."
You must first specify the requester, and then you can add additional Client Portal user as watcher by searching for the name and including it.
Once added, watchers can Watchers can therefore access these matters and contracts directly from their client portal Client Portal page.
