Steps
You can now assign contracts to a user or team directly from a dedicated window, with the option to restrict access based on permissions. To do so, an administrator can navigate to system settings =-> User Group Permission under Users & Permissions
Choose the user group to which you wish to grant permission, then select "Contracts" for the module. From there, you can activate the "Assign" button within the Contracts & Documents section to authorize users to assign contracts.

Upon granting permission, the user will be able to use the Assign option from any contract page.
Click can go now to any contract and click on the three dots on the top right and select "Assign" where it will show you a new windows window to assign a team and a user on the contract.
