Objectives:

  • Access the Approval Center
  • Add/Edit Approvers
  • Approve/Reject Contracts

Steps:

1. Access the Approval Center:

  • Open the Word document.

  • Click on the "Contract" button, to launch the Lexzur Add-on

  • Select "Approval Center."

  • Choose the contract you want to work with by searching or selecting from recently viewed items.

2. View and Modify Approval Details:

  • The approval workflow for the selected contract will appear.

  • If an approval process exists, you'll see all details, including status and approvers.

  • If no approvers have been added yet, or the process is still in draft, you can add or edit it.

3. Add/Edit Approvers:

  • Click "Add/Edit Approvers" > "Add Approver."

  • Select the approver type (User, Collaborator, User Group, etc.).

  • Choose the approver’s name, add a label or summary if needed.

  • You can add multiple approvers at the same level (anyone can approve) and use approval order for a step-by-step approval process.

  • Add as many approvers as required, then click Save. These changes will sync with the main system.

4. Approving a Contract via the Add-on:

  • When it’s your turn to approve, you’ll receive an email notification.

  • Click on the Actions Approve or Reject to be directed to another page where you can check the contract document.

  • Download the contract document from the email, by clicking on its name.

  • Open it in Word, launch the Lexzur Add-on, and go to "Approval Center."

  • Select the contract, review the word document, and click Approve or Reject.

  • The approval status will be updated in Lexzur accordingly.

You can only use the addon to approve if you are lexzur user.
